first a huge thank you to all the local artists for joining us for the first ever
local stage at our summer music festival..The Blue Method, Josh Komorowski, Brian Seymour, Caryn Lin, Trisha O'Keefe, Matt Duke, Julia Othmer, Kate Gaffney, Feel, Melody Gardot, Devin Greenwood, Birdie Busch, John Francis, Mutlu, Kufie, Dave Quicks ...thank you for celebrating
with WXPN!!! Everyone was coming up to me and saying "we have great
music in our area"....that is why we now have an hour local show on Tuesday nights...plus I have plans....big plans...

and we are working on our Top Ten Albums of all time....how tough is that
..try it ...I could list all my favorite Beatle Albums...everyone holds a very special memory...but I've decided to represent them with "Sgt Pepper",
my list are Albums that I can still play (now on CD) and enjoy the entire album, Genesis "A Trick of the Tail", David Gray "White Ladder", Moby "Play",
Pink Floyd "the Wall", Joni Mitchell "Court & Spark", Steely Dan "the Royal Scam", and a few others....

and I'm still working on my Top Ten of 2005 JBT, Townhall, begin my list

MAN.

I have spent any down time I've had the past week trying to put together my personal Top Ten All Time Greatest Albums ... being the self-proclaimed music junkie that I am, it has become a daunting task indeed!!

One thing I know - this album won't be on my list (or anyone's I hope!) ...



But I have promised myself to submit my list first thing Monday - (and then of course, I will have my personal 'OH BUT WAIT' list for the next several weeks!) :)
