My Morning Download 3/17/08 - Paddy Casey

Irish singer-songwriter Paddy Casey has a new album due out on April 1 called Addicted To Company (Part 1). He just finished several sets at SXSW and is currently on tour before a stop on the Letterman show on April 3.

From an early age Casey spent a time busking on the streets of Dublin and Galway. He's a soulful and intense performer. with influences ranging from Prince and Sinead O'Connor, The Smiths and Bill Withers. Here's a song from his forthcoming album.
