Congratulations to one of Philly Local's favorite rock groups, the Brakes! Not only were they recently signed to Hyena Records, but they also are about to release their debut album entitled "A Tale of Two Cities" May 6th 2008.

Their album, "A Tale of Two Cities," earned it's title as it is a compilation of live tracks recorded from both their NYC gigs on Tuesday Nights and their Philadelphia shows on Thursdays. Yes it's true, this incredible band played weekly in both New York City and Philadelphia.
